Thank you for choosing to work with me. Please review the following policies before booking a session.
Materials & Prep
Location & Travel

I offer tutoring within a 10-mile radius of Central Oakland (Pittsburgh) or virtually via Zoom.

For in-person sessions, I meet in safe, public spaces such as libraries or coffee shops.

Note: I do not enter students’ homes unless we’ve developed a long-term relationship and this has been discussed in advance.
Booking Rules

Sessions must be booked at least 24 hours in advance.

Don’t see a time that works? Join the waitlist, and I’ll reach out.

Be sure to include your preferred meeting location (in-person or virtual) in the notes when booking.
Cancellations & Rescheduling

You may cancel up to 12 hours before the session without penalty.

Cancellations made within 12 hours will be charged 50% of the session fee.

No-shows will be charged the full session rate.

Rescheduling is available up to 24 hours before the session.

I understand that emergencies happen—just communicate with me as soon as possible.
Payment

Payment is due at the time of service via debit/credit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Tap to Pay.

Weekly or monthly invoicing is available for ongoing clients.

Consistent late or missed payments may result in paused services
Session Timing

Sessions are typically 1 hour.

Please arrive on time. If you're late, the session will still end at the scheduled time.

I will bring any necessary prep materials.

If you'd like to focus on a specific topic or assignment, please send it to me at least 12 hours in advance.
Communication & Progress

I’m happy to provide brief updates after sessions if requested.

If you'd like more structured progress check-ins or learning plans, let me know and we can set that up.

I may take up to 24 hours to respond to messages outside of scheduled session times.
